Sunday 28th January

Hello Everyone

I woke up nice and early @ Nanny's, 5:30am sorry Nanny
Am still having problems pooing I have been in so much pain with it. Mummy and Daddy came and picked me up at 8:30am and we went the hospital at 9am again for my GCSF boost and the doctors checked me over and said I was just constipated so they have given me more medicine. In the afternoon I went to play with Auntie Taylor & Heather. I played loads of games with them.

I feel ok today not the best but the the worst! I keep getting burst of energy but then I just want to sleep. My blood counts ar ok at the moment.

Saturday 27th January

Hello Everyone,

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY MUMMY! LOVE YOU LOADS

I have been the hospital again today, just for my GCSF boost.
We got there nice and early so we could get back as Mummy and Daddy where going shopping for Mummy's Birthday. I stayed with Nanny Dee all day and night and I slept there as Daddy was taking Mummy for a meal.
We have loads of fun but I was in a lot of pain because I couldn't poo I was in lots of pain but Nanny Dee help me and we got there in the end. I was really unsettled for most of the night but me and Nanny made the most of it and played games and watched TV but for most of the night I just hugged Nanny on the Sofa

Friday 26th January

Hi everyone,

Thank you everyone that sent me a card to the hospital. I felt very special when the nurses kept bringing them to me.

Thank you everyone that has donated, Daddy will update everyone over the weekend on how much we have raised and he will add loads more pictures to the site and more video's of me.

Well today I have been really tired and have slept most of the day. I was back in hospital at 9am for my GCSF boost with Mummy and Daddy but they needed to be back for 10:30am because they where going to a funeral. Little Karl Bond was in a road accident on 12th January 2007, he was only 8 years old. His funeral was today and Mummy and Daddy went and I stayed at Nanny Dee's. Daddy said that lots of people turned up to the funeral and Karl would of been proud of his Mum, Dad, his brothers and all his Family. Daddy said it was like the town turned out and the funeral was a real tribute to Karl.

Daddy picked me up from Nanny's at 2pm and we went home. Mummy went to help out in the shop.

I went home and me and Daddy fell asleep on the sofa. I have not really done much to write about as this round chemo is taking affect. I hope the GCSF starts working soon and picks me up. At the moment I just get energy burst for about 10 minutes then need to sleep. Am back in hospital tomorrow at 9am for GCSF and they will take bloods so I might need another transfusion soon.

It's my Mummy's 21st Birthday tomorrow so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mummy, You’re the best!!!!

R.I.P Karl Bond

Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th January

Hello all,

Sorry for not updating yesterday but I was a little busy

Yesterday, I finished Round 6 of m chemo, it made me feel a little unwell and knocked my blood counts down so I needed a Blood transfusion and Platelet transfusion. I had them yesterday and everything went ok for me. I slept most of yesterday but I did get to have a little draw in my colouring book. The Doctors said that I can go home tomorrow. YIP PEEEEE

Today was a different story, I woke up and I was not connected to any machines, I was FREE! I was allowed to play and I was allowed to get out of my bed, for the first time in 4 days!!!!! I was full of energy and when Daddy was sleeping on the other bed I ran over and jumped all over him we then played tick around the room. I felt so much better and so full of energy!

I was meant to go home ASAP but needed to wait for my GCSF boost so we never got home til 3pm. I went to Nanny Angs and played with My Auntie Taylor and Heather. I had loads of nice food, Am back home now and going to MY BED for this first time in years, well days!

Tuesday 23rd January

Hello Everyone,

Am not to well today, my blood counts are really down. I look very pale and have bruised on my legs. I have gone off my food again but am keeping my self busy by drawing and playing with Mummy and Daddy. I have slept for most of the day and my eyes are red and sore but the Doctors don't know what it is but will monitor it.

Mummy and Daddy are getting more information about treatment in America and the information is looking good.

Monday 22nd January

Morning everyone,

I was back in hospital yesterday for Round 6 of chemo. I had to be at the hospital at 12pm. I had a great nights sleep and woke up at 10am. Am feeling great but I still have a little cough and snotty nose. Am stuck in a isolation room for 4 days because of this cough this is so other children don't catch it off me. Mummy and Daddy are doing there best to keep me happy. Daddy made a "den" for us out of the sheets from the bed. Me and Daddy hid under the sheets and Mummy couldn't find us hehehe and then we jumped out and scared her.

Am stuck in my bed for 4 days now but Mummy and Daddy have made it feel like home for me.

I have bruised on my legs and look pale today. The Doctors have done a blood count and all of them are low so it looks like I will be having my 5th Blood Transfusion in the next few days.

A big Thank you to Jamie Carragher for the items you donated. I have been told you and your wife read my diary so a big hello to both of you. These items will raise loads of money for the appeal. Thank you so much

Sunday 21st January

Hello Everyone

Am still feeling full of energy today and it was my day off from hospital! I had a great nights sleep last night, I slept from 9pm until Mummy woke me up at 10am! My Nanny Ang, Auntie Taylor and Auntie Heather looked after me in the morning because Mummy and Daddy needed to do some work in the shop, Thank you everyone who has donated items and money to help me get to America. I can't thank you enough.

I played with Auntie Taylor & Heather all morning, playing with my kitchen, shop, scooter dolls and teddies.

Am at Nanny Dee's now, having a Sunday roast for tea Am back in hospital tomorrow for Round 6, Am in hospital for 3/4 days if everything goes to plan! Am going to be in a room by myself and won't be allowed to play with my car or go to the toy room as I have a cough and snotty nose You can send me a card so I can put it on my wall in the room to make me happy

Friday 19th & Saturday 20th January

Hi everyone

Sorry for not updating yesterday but I was really busy. I have been feeling great and full of energy so I had lots of playing to do.
My blood counts are low so I am still having my GCSF boost, if my counts where OK then I would of stopped the GCSF yesterday. So I have been the hospital yesterday afternoon and today but am off tomorrow so I can play and have fun all day.

I have been sleeping great, well, last night I was full of energy so I never went to sleep until 11pm. Mummy and Daddy put me to bed so I could watch a DVD so I watched "The Little Mermaid" but I was still not sleepy and all I wanted to do was play with my toys. When Mummy and Daddy went to bed, I was still playing. Mummy told me to go sleep. so I did like a good little girl

This morning I cooked Mummy and Daddy breakfast on my Princess Kitchen and they has a cup of tea too, I look after them well! I played with my shop and also help Mummy clean up with my mob and brush. I have been really busy today

I have just got back from Hospital so am going for my tea and then an early night for me as I have not been to sleep all day today.

Thursday 18th January

Hello everyone,

I feel better today and am eating normal again Am a little local celeb! I have been in the Liverpool Echo and on the radio today but then the weather changed that for me, it stole my thunder but there is always another day. I hope everyone got home ok!

I woke up fine this morning and was sick but only a little bit, but I woke up and played with my toys and had milk and toast. I played all morning with my toys and played games with Mummy as Daddy had some running round to do. I was back in hospital in the afternoon and because I had a little chest infection I was locked away in my room with Mummy and Daddy while I had my daily GCFS boost

The Doctor showed Mummy and Daddy the CT SCAN today and said my tumour was a dark colour which showed it was dying! It’s great news but this is expected from this treatment so everything is going really well but my chances don't change. there is still an 70/80% chance that the treatment will stop working or once this nasty cancer has gone, it might come back but there just numbers for doctors and who says am just am a Number? AM EMMA!

I want to thank everyone for there donations. On Monday, Daddy will update everyone on how much has been raised and post weekly updates, I think he is going to add a Events Diary to the site as there are loads going on at the moment, I want to thank everyone again.

I will speak to everyone tomorrow, Am sitting here hitting Daddy with my socks on my head and my trainers on my hands hehehehe

Wednesday 17th January

Hello everyone,

Just got back from the Hospital now. It went well but last night when I was in bed, I was sick again and guess what? My feed tube came out again!!!! So today they needed to put a new one in and it made me cry again! I hate it when they do that!

Am still feeling unwell but am happy and still full of energy! Am sitting here watching the simpsons and eating a packet of crisp.

I also got results today about my tumour. My tumour was 15x11cm and now it is 5x4cm. This is great and the Doctors are really pleased with me

Am having an early night tonight, going to try and get a full 400ml feed down me but at a slower pace!!!! fingers crossed!

I had my photo taken today by the Liverpool echo so I should be in the paper tomorow! Mummy and Daddy got interviewed by RADIO CITY so I think I might be on the radio tomorrow! hehehe everyone wants me

Tuesday 16th January

Hello everyone

I woke up feeling ill again today but I had a nice sleep and was not sick, and I had a full feed during the night time to keep my energy up. I was not feeling hungry all day until I got the hospital, I went in and sat down on Mummy's knee and guess what? I was sick! All over poor Mummy but I felt better afterwards! My feed tube came out when I was sick so the Nurse had to put a new one in, it made me cry!

We still have not been told the results of my CT SCAN but we will get them tomorrow! if not I will do something nasty only messing. I couldn't be nasty if I tried

When I left the hospital, we went to Nanny Dee's and I had loads of food and goats milk! Goats milk is better for me at the moment and I love it and drink it all the time

Am off to bed now, am back in hospital tomorrow and my shop opens. Am also on the front page of our local paper again and have a few interviews tomorrow, hay! What else do you expect, am a wanted girl! Not bad for a 2 year old!

Monday 15th January

Hello everyone,

I have been the hospital today for my daily GCSF boost, back to normal I had my photo taken this morning for a local news paper, think I might be in the paper this week.....again! so many people want to help me raise the money that Mummy and Daddy are really busy so they have got people to help them, Daddy said all the contact details have been changed so if your reading this then please have a look

I have been feeling unwell today, not really my normal self. I have not wanted to eat anything or drink much. I think the chemo is making me feel this way. Mummy and Daddy will put me on a feed tonight so my weight won't drop.

I hope I feel better tomorrow

Sunday 14th January

Hi,

Sunday turned out to be a great day, it started of with me waking up at 5:30am being sick! But Mummy was on hand to help me I went back to sleep and woke up again about an hour later but felt much better. I shouted until Daddy came to get me. I was in a good mood seeing that I only had chemo yesterday! I had my milk and toast and watched Teletubbies and SpongeBob.

We went to Nanny Dee's to have Sunday lunch and Nanny Ang also came to see me. I was playing boo! with Nanny Dee but she needed to go and cook so I fell asleep on Nanny Ang.
I woke up when Nanny Ang was leaving so I gave her a kiss good bye. My tea was ready by this time and I ate all of it!

After tea, I played with Nanny Dee and watched TV, Mummy and Daddy where busy sorting out the fundraising events.

Am back in hospital tomorrow for my GCSF boost and we will be told what size my tumour is, hope it's gone down!!!! so keep your fingers crossed!

Will post tomorrow as soon as we know some results

Saturday 13th January

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for visiting my site, more and more people are visiting the site each day, thank you everyone so muchhhhhhhhhhhhh!

To day was the last day of round 5 of my chemo and it went great! I woke up at 5:30am feeling sick so I woke Daddy up. I was only sick a little bit but went back to sleep. I never woke up until 10am, I think I needed a good nights sleep, yesterdays chemo really took it out of me.

I had my toast and milk then me and Daddy went off to the hospital for the last of my round 5 chemo. This lot of chemo gave me soooooo much energy. Daddy thought I would sleep all day, like yesterday so he could get on with some work but I had other plans.

I played loads of games with Daddy, we jumped on the bed and watched the same The Simpsons DVD 4 times! I draw pictures so I can sell them on ebay to raise money, so watch out for the links! We played pulley and Daddy fell over! We had a great time and it went so fast because we where having so much fun!

Am in Nanny Dee's now playing with her, everyone thinks am coping so well because the chemo is so strong but am not letting it get me down and spoil my fun!

Thank you to everyone who has donated! The shop is still opening on Wednesday 17th January but we still need stuff! At the moment we have no shop equipment at all so if you know anyone that has anything to do with a shop that we could lend, then please contact us.

Am off to bed soon, am not in hospital tomorrow so I will be online in the morning.

Thursday 11th & Friday 12th January

Hello everyone,
Sorry for not updating yesterday but I was really busy and when straight to sleep when I got in.

Yesterday was my day off from hospital, I don't get many days off from that place so I make the most of it!
Most of the day I relaxed at home with Nanny Dee, Mummy and Daddy needed to go and get a Permit so they can collect money, they also needed to set up a special bank account for me, so Nanny Dee looked after me, I played with all my toys and made Nanny Dee run around after me.

I played with Mummy and Daddy for most of the afternoon and had a nice long sleep.

I woke up and we went to Nanny's for tea and so Mummy and Daddy could work on my Fundraising.

I ate all my tea!!!

Friday was different, we where back in hospital. I started round 5 of chemo and it took it's toll on my little body, I sleep for most of the day and only woke up when we where going home.

Most of all we got told some results from Wednesday, My BONE MARROW is clear of this nasty cancer!!! This is brilliant news and everyone is Happy!

We don't know anything about the tumour size at the moment, we will be told everything on Monday but today is good and we have started the year as we mean to go on!

Am off to play now and will speak to everyone tomorrow.

Thank you everyone that has emailed me, every time I click on my email I get about 20 emails of support. We had more than 700 different people (IP) visit the site yesterday and Mummy and Daddy keep reading all the messages out to me and they make me smile! Anyway I have to go now, speak to you all soon

Wednesday 10th January

Hello Everyone,

First of all I would like to Thank everyone who has visited the site, we have had over 1000 visitors to the site. With the site in the local paper we should have loads more! Daddy has not been of his phone all day!

Since I was on the front page of The Champion our phones have not stopped ringing with people wanting to help! so thank you everyone!

Today has been very busy for me. We got to Alder Hay at 8:15am so we would be first in. I got weighed when I went in, and they asked if my bloods have been done, they where done yesterday. We waited for the Doctor to call us in to check I was ok for theatre today, I have a snotty nose but that's all, everything else is fine. The doctor said I was fine so off we went to theatre.
Daddy came into theatre with me, I went for a big sleep and in my dreams I played with the teletubbies!

This was to take a sample of my BONE MARROW to see if the chemo has had any affect on this nasty cancer.

I was only asleep for 20 minutes but it felt like hours, when I woke up Daddy was there waiting for me. I was taken to day care and fell asleep for another 2 hours. I woke up fine and dandy! Mummy and Daddy was there, Mummy went to wash her hands and put Alcohol Gel in her eye, yes her EYE!
Mummy had to be rushed down to the eye Doctor so Daddy went with her and I went back to sleep!

Mummy had an eye wash and was given some medicine to make it better, Daddy was laffing at her!

I played with the toys and had some dinner before I went for my CT SCAN

I had to stay still on a funny looking bed but Mummy and Daddy stayed with me, Daddy needed to put on a funny dress!
I was only in the CT room for about 15 mins then it was time to go home.

Am at my Nanny Dee's now, It's my day off from the hospital tomorrow so I will be spending sometime with Nanny tomorrow as Mummy and Daddy will be running around sorting the fundraising out.

Monday 8th & Tuesday 9th January


Thought I would do a double post today!

Not much going on at the moment, Am in a brill mood all the time and loads of energy, got a little cough but nothing much.

All my blood counts have recovered to normal, so everything is going to plan!

Been the hospital Yesterday and today for my GCSF boost. Today they stuck a hover up my nose and made me cry. This was to take a sample of my snot! think it was because of my cough.

Think tomorrow is going to be a little busy for Mummy and Daddy

Good news on my appeal, The Champion have put my face on the front page for tomorrow (champion is our local paper ) As am writing this someone has already phoned and asked how they can donate.

Also we have been told that we can use a un-rented unit in our local shopping centre as our base for the appeal until it's rented, think this unit has been un-rented for years so hopefully we will get a good run with it, we will get the keys tomorrow so if you have anything that we can sell please contact my Mummy and Daddy!

And most of all am having my CT SCAN and BONE MARROW taken tomorrow to see if the tumour has gone down in size and to see if this nasty cancer is out of my bone marrow. Am looking forward to hospital now, I get to see all my friends there and play with loads of toys.

Am of to bed to watch a DVD and get a good nights rest

Sunday 7th December

I woke up at 7am this morning Daddy took me down stairs and gave me my milk and toast then we went up and woke Mummy up about 9am, Mummy had a late night last night and there was nothing better than going into her room and jumping on her bed with Daddy  oh well that’s what she gets for coming in at 4am.
We set off at 10am to go to the hospital ‘AGAIN’ for my GCSF Boost, this time the nurses wasn’t as busy and I was in and out within an hour.
I spent the afternoon playing with Daddy while Mummy went to see Nanny Ang.
After picking Mummy up we went to see Nanna Dee, I was running round scaring my Grandad. I had Nanny running after me oh bless her she had only been up for half an hour as she works nights. We went home and my Great Nanny and Grandad came to see me for a bit and gave me some chocolates.

Saturday 6th January

We were up nice and early today, so daddy could take me to the hospital for 10am for my GCSF Boost, Mummy was staying at home today so she could get the house clean as we have not stayed there for almost a week.
It was a nice eventful day with Daddy, the hospital was really busy so we done a lot of waiting and of cause I played with the toys and the big car, I had daddy running around after me.
We didn’t get home till 5 o clock and because I seen MacDonald’s going on the way home, so I needed to have one  Mummy wasn’t impressed because Daddy never got her one hehehe 

Daddy went to Nanna and Granddad’s house to do some more work on my website.
I stayed with Mummy because Suzanna, Nanny Ang and my two Aunties Heather and Taylah where coming to see me.
Nanny Ang stayed for about an hour as it was getting dark and cold, but within that hour I had my two Aunties running round like to mad people after me. It’s a really work out for them coming to my house . Suzanna came just before Nanna Ang was leaving and I made Suzanna join in all the madness. .

I had late night tonight with my Daddy, Mummy went to her friends, I always get my own way when it’s just me and my Daddy.

Friday 5th January

After a long night with daddy I woke up at 8:30am, of cause I had to wake Daddy up. The doctors came to see me at about 10am, they told me that I was allowed home today , Mummy and Daddy were made up. Mummy had asked to see my CT scan, The Doctor told Mummy and Daddy that he had them with him. He told Mummy and Daddy that my tumour was 8.75cm x10cm, he pointed out that my liver was pushed up out of the way and my stomach has been pushed up and pushed towards the left and my left kidney has also been pushed to the left. So everything has been moved inside me! It also showed my right kidney, with the tumour attached to it. My right kidney has been stretched because of the tumour; in fact it looks like someone has got a rolling pin and rolled it out, it is squashed right up against my right side, there is also calcium and blood vessels growing within the tumour which is helping it grow! When we returned to my hospital bed the Doctor told Mummy and Daddy how well he thought I was doing well on the chemo and said he is really impressed with me and how am dealing with it. Mummy was made up and so was Daddy but right now all that was on my mind was getting home to all my toys.

We got home at about 1pm, me and Daddy fell asleep in bed while Mummy watch a DVD. Mummy woke us up about 2 hours later because Auntie Sam knocked with my little cousin Mike, when Auntie Sam was leaving I told daddy I wanted a MacDonald’s, that sounded good to Mummy so we made Daddy take us through the drive threw. After that we went to Nanna Dee’s and spent the afternoon there.

I had a nice early night in my bed, about time, I missed my bed

Thursday 4th January

Mummy had a bad night with me last night, changing my bum and I started being sick so she took of my overnight feed. I woke up again at 8am being sick. This time I was awake so I was not letting Mummy go back to sleep, then Daddy waked in so Mummy made him change my nappy and sort me out the next time I started being sick. That’s daddy always showing up at the right time 

As you can see Daddy came over at 8am and Mummy tried to get back to sleep but couldn’t. I was wide awake. I didn’t do much just watched TV

We had to swap beds today as there was a little boy who didn’t have his mum stay over with him at night and was suffering from nose bleeds so they need to keep an eye on him and as I was on the first bed by the doors and windows they wanted to swap.

I ate a little today but not much. I’m having my blood transfusion tomorrow. My platelets have gone up from 29 to 137, which is great and I have started to produce neutrophils, not many but least it’s some. My red cells re down to 5.5 and anything below 7 means I need a top up.

Daddy has been out and about today taking a few things back to shops.
Mummy has been trying to get me to sleep for about an hour. I think I am just over tried now don’t want to do anything! Today was just another day in hospital but I should be out soon! Could even be tomorrow!


Wednesday 3rd January

Daddy spent the night with me on the ward, he didn’t get much sleep as he needed to change my nappy every hour because of the hydration I was on, but me on the other hand slept like a baby hehehe
Mummy came over to the ward at about 8:30am from the Macdonald house. After the Doctors had been for the morning round, Daddy went to the Macdonald House for a sleep. I slept most of the morning and Mummy read her book and listened to the Arctic Monkeys on her Ipod. Daddy came back over at about 3pm and that’s when I really woke up, so of course I wanted to play with Daddy and I had him running around everywhere after me and I was throwing toys at him hehehe
Nanny Ang and Grandad Jay came to see me today, they bought with them my Aunties Heather and Taylah. I was made up to see them and was playing with them for hours. When they went Mummy and Daddy got me settled in my bed and they popped out to the local Tesco to get me loads of goodies to eat.
Mummy stayed with me on the ward tonight. She was up till 12am speaking to her friend who she met while I was in hospital in November.
Not much happened today as I was stuck in bed most of the day, asleep, Hope tomorrow is more fun

Tuesday 2nd January

I woke up in a very mood this morning, I felt like “The Little Mermaid”, I tried to eat some toast but I didn’t feel like it I wanted to go and play, so I did! Mummy tried to make me go to sleep before my hearing test because she knows that if I don’t sleep I go into a right mood and will not do anything, like last time!
Well I didn’t go to sleep but I did go to the hearing test at 1:30pm, the women couldn’t believe I was the same baby they seen a few weeks ago as I was in such a good mood. Well come on. last time I seen her, I had just been diagnosed with cancer and I had everyone poking me and wanting to do loads of tests but am getting better now and in a better mood!

At about 3pm I went on Round 4 of my chemo, so now am stuck in my bed and I don’t like it when I can’t run around! I was sweating loads but lucky my temperature was staying down. The Doctors said it would be to do with the hydration I was on with my chemo.

Nanna Dee, Grandad Ste and Auntie Sam came in to see me. I have not seen Auntie Sam as much within the last three weeks as she has just gave birth to my little cousin Mike, she wasn’t allowed to bring little mike in as he is so young he can’t come on the ward, oh well I will just have to wait for Auntie Sam to bring him to see me when am home.

Monday 1st January

Mummy didn’t get to sleep until about 2am, me on the other hand, went to sleep right away. I wasn’t in much of a good mood when I woke up. I was hot and horrid. The Doctors came to see me and said that I need to stay on the antibiotics for 48 hours after my temperature came down, They also said that after my blood transfusion the other day it didn’t do much good for my counts, they said it only brought my count up to 6.9. So I would need another blood transfusion after this round of chemo.
Mummy and daddy were made up when they were told my chemo would still go a head, as if you counts are down they can sometimes delay the chemo.
I started to pick up that day and was playing in the toy room running around everywhere.
When daddy came in, he brought me my golf set that my Great Auntie Bev and Great Uncle Keith had brought me for Christmas.
I was running round every were using the ware as a 18 whole golf course, Mummy got some good pictures of me playing golf with Daddy.
Me and Daddy started hitting her with the golf clubs. “Pip” the toy specialist came to see us, as we had not seen her over Christmas. She asked how my Christmas was and asked if I got my sack of toys from Santa, Mummy and Daddy looked confused and said “no, what sack?” She said the sack that Santa left here for Emma.
Next minute she went somewhere and came back with a big bad of presents all wrapped for me. I got about 10 presents, among them were DVD’s, doll’s and loads more toys. I was made up. Now I have loads more new toys to play with.
I went to sleep early today all the running around really took its toll on me and I was so tried.
